Principal Investigator
Yoed N. Kenett, PhD
My research broadly aims to comprehend the role of knowledge in higher-level cognition, in typical and atypical populations. I completed a Bachelor of Art in Cognitive Science and Psychology (2007) and a Master of Art in Cognitive Science (2009) at the Hebrew University at Jerusalem. I then earned my Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience at the Leslie and Susan Gonda Brain Research Center at Bar-Ilan University (2015), working with Miriam Faust and David Anaki. Following my Ph.D., I completed my postdoctoral training in Cognitive Neuroscience at Brown University (2015-2016), working with Joseph Austerweil and Bertram Malle, and at the University of Pennsylvania (2016-2020), working with Sharon Thompson-Schill and Anjan Chatterjee. I joined the Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences as a Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in August 2020.

I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and management from Ben Gurion University, and a master’s degree in cognitive psychology from Tel Aviv University. Today, I am a PhD student at the Data and Decision Sciences faculty in the Technion under the supervision of PhD Yoed Kenett. I am interested in brain structures and networks that can predict creative abilities.

I am a PhD student at the Technion’s Data and Decision Sciences faculty. Under the supervision of Ph.D. Yoed Kenett, I explore the semantic network reconfiguration processes that underlie creative ideation by using the prospective computational network analysis. We are curious about the main questions as to what has happened when creative ideation reacts to the previous memory structure and how does this relate to the subsequent memory retrieval performance.
PhD student
Tuval Raz
I am a PhD student studying cognitive psychology at the Technion’s Data and Decision Sciences faculty under the supervision of Ph.D. Yoed Kenett. I am currently exploring question asking and its relation to creativity, as well as trying to develop new computational and AI models of question asking.
Graduate Student
Ekaterina Superfin
I have a BSc degree in Data and Decision Sciences from the Technion, and today I am a MSc student at the Technion’s Data and Decision Sciences faculty. Under the supervision of Ph.D. Yoed Kenett, I explore how age affects creativity, memory and cognitive skills by using statistical and network science analysis.
Graduate Student
Ofir Ganor
As a graduate of the Technion with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Engineering, I am currently pursuing a Master of Science degree at the university’s Data and Decision Sciences faculty. My research, under the guidance of Ph.D. Yoed Kenett, focuses on utilizing statistical and network science analysis, as well as multiplex networks, to predict traits such as creativity, openness to new experiences, and intelligence .
Graduate Student
Amit Skurnik
I hold a BA in psychology from Reichman University and am currently pursuing an MSc in cognitive psychology at the Technion’s Data and Decision Sciences faculty. Under the supervision of a Ph.D., my research focuses on meta-cognitive judgments and the self-evaluation of creative ideas and problem-solving. I have a keen interest in the intersection between cognitive psychology and education, exploring how cognitive processes can enhance educational methodologies

Graduate Student

After graduating from the Technion with. a BSc in Data Science and Eningeering, I am currently pursuing my MSc in Data Science. My research focuses on exploring question-asking via gaming environments and relation to different cognitive processes. We aim to better understand human question asking processes through innovative prespective of natural setting.

Graduate Student
